I’ve always been fascinated by nature, especially wildlife. Growing up in rural North Carolina, I wanted to be a vet when I was young. Although I ultimately didn’t follow the veterinary path, I am an impartial animal lover with a particular fondness for birds

Over the past decade, my interest in birds has grown, so much that I now explore birds in many facets of my life. I find much wisdom on the wings of our avian friends and hope you enjoy this collection of my random musings inspired by my winged companions.
